Meet Our Team

Heidi is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 20 years of experience dedicated to women’s health care. A proud fourth-generation nurse, she began her career after completing her LPN program in Kentucky in 2004. Since relocating to Savannah in 2006, Heidi has focused her passion on maternal care, inspired by an early encounter with a midwife that introduced her to the midwifery model of care.

 

Currently, Heidi leads the Birth Assistant and Nursing team, overseeing daily clinical operations, facilitating training sessions, and conducting emergency preparedness drills. As a valued member of the birth team, she provides hands-on support, education, and encouragement to mothers throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

 

Outside of her professional role, Heidi enjoys traveling with her husband and family, reading, listening to music, and knitting hats for newborns at the birth center.
