Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) - Full time, Immediate Opening
Position Overview:
We are seeking an immediate hire for a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) passionate about natural childbirth and holistic care.
Prior midwifery experience of at least 1 years is required in this busy and growing out of hospital environment. Most births occur within our fully accredited Birth Center.
This growing practice includes full scope midwifery care (AP, IP and PP and newborn care), women’s health and incorporates group prenatal care and education. We have approximately 175 births a year which includes 10% of births occurring at a local hospital.
The four CNMs take approximately 7 – 9 call days per month and work in the office approximately 2 days per week.

Birth Assistant (CPM, LPN, RN) - Multiple Positions, Immediate Openings
Full-Time/Part-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Birth Assistant (Certified Professional Midwife [CPM], Licensed Practical Nurse [LPN], or Registered Nurse [RN]) to join our team. The Birth Assistant will support our midwives and healthcare professionals in delivering holistic and client-centered care. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for natural childbirth, including prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing comprehensive care during prenatal visits, labor and delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Support the midwives and healthcare team in monitoring the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the mother throughout the birthing process.
- Prepare and maintain the birthing environment, ensuring it is clean, comfortable, and safe.
- Assist with non-medical aspects of care, such as providing emotional support and encouragement, helping with breathing techniques, and facilitating family involvement as desired.
- Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby, under the supervision of a midwife or nurse, and report any concerns.
- Provide education and resources to mothers and families on topics related to natural childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in maternal and child health, labor and delivery, or a related field preferred.
- Passion for natural childbirth and a holistic approach to maternity care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under the supervision of midwives and other healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as childbirth is unpredictable.
- CPR certification and neonatal resuscitation certification preferred or required, depending on the role.
